It is best to place the hotspot router (in your case DDWRT) nearest to your internet link. This means that if you are using a modem, the router should be directly behind it, to ensure that all internet connections go through the hotspot. You can then set the lan ports up for free access, if you don’t want the wired network suers to have to go throught the splash page.
