As well as not getting any internet when the ip address of the PC is static, when I set the ip address to obtain as automatic to access the internet through the hotspot I cannot access the hotspot and get “limited or no connectivity” through a wired and wireless connection to the router. The router definitely has internet access because a WAN IP is seen in the router settings as well as what seems to be a successful installation in the location settings on the hotspot system website, so it is obviously communicating with your system.
