Hi there,I’m trying to set up my hotspot (free basic) using a router (TP-LINK wdr3600) which has a dd-wrt firmware (building 20453 v24 sp2 std).I also have created an account at hotspotsystem.com.my network is the following: a modem/router (internal ip 192.168.2.254) the tp-link router (wan ip 192.168.2.1, internal ip 192.168.1.1)everything works fine (I can get to the internet connected both via wifi and with cable) so I now started to set the hotspotsystem.com options.without doing anything else, I entered the script that I found on my account web page (as seen in the youtube video “Setup Your Own Hotspot with LinkSys WRT54GL (Part 2)”, run the script and rebooted my router. Now in my “locations” I can see my router in “devices list” with the right MAC address.then i run a wifi scan command and I connect to my wifi network (the one managed by the tp-link) and connect to it getting the ip 192.168.1.100 with the proper netmask/gateway and dns 8.8.8.8 as set in the router previously.so far so goodfinally i opened the browser and tried to type an address such as http://www.google.com or cnn.com and it works as if the hotspotsystem isn’t enabled.I also tried to reboot manually the router again, tried to insert the settings in the “service->hotspot->hotspotsystem.com” area, tried to setup the chillispot with the information I found on the forum but nothing worked. Can you help me please?many thanksMatteo
now it says “down” on my account main page but I did not change anything…
