Thank you for your reply. The LinkSys Wrt54G is a very old router, and our system doesn’t work on all the versions of this series of routers. Probably, this is the case. You can still use this router if you connect it to a router that is compatible to our system.
We recommend the Linksys WRT54GL that is still available in the market. We have tested this router and you will not experience such issues.
If you want to use newer technology (wireless n) we suggest you have a look at the Ubiquiti airrouter (http://www.ubnt.com/airrouter). This is also a router that we have tested and works well with our system.
All the above routers are standard routers and can handle between 20-30 simultaneous accesses. If you want to handle much higher loads you should look into Mikrotik routers. The load a Mikrotik router can handle depends on the amount of memory it has.
