Ubuntu coovachilli and hotspotsystem installation

Hello,

I have read that you can install and configure coovachilli for hotspotsystem on Ubuntu computer rather than configure a few routers. Is this true? Do you have an install guide somewhere?

Hi,

yes it’s true. We have no installation guide for Ubuntu but you can use our OpenWRT guide as an example, there are coovachilli configuration files there: http://www.hotspotsystem.com/installation-guide-openwrt

Also, you can even install Mikrotik’s RouterOS onto a PC if you don’t want to use routers.
