Hi all.
in a bit of a pickle.
I have set up a hotspot using a Netgear WNR2200 with DD-WRT. From this im running an AP in the form of a Ubiquiti AP outdoor+ connected to the routers LAN port with Cat5.
Upon connection to the router through the routers wifi[reception] or the wifi of the AP[outdoor] the splash page generates as it should.
If you are using the reception wifi (that of the router itself) all works as it should after that.
If you are on the outdoor wifi (the AP outdoor+) it will allow you to set up a user account and pay but wont then let you log in once you have done this. No error, just nothing happens when you press login, no link to the login page!
NB: When this happens you can then walk to reception, log in, walk outside and access the internet through the AP as if nothing happened.
im no pro as you may be able to tell.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
are you running a special firmware on Ubiquiti AP outdoor or are you using the factory firmware?
it’s factory. Do I need to change it to the hotspot firmware to use it as a repeater?
What firmware build are you running on?
Can be seen from Status>Router>Firmware version>end of row 5 digit number..
Steve
