We’ve got into hotspot system because we needed some kind of control for some of our client´s internet (specially hotels and Inns located in remote areas of Brazil), as most of them have our Ka band satellite internet installed and as you may know it is very expensive if compared to standard cable internet. It also has a limited monthly allowance.
Hotspot System has worked fine during the past months we have tested it, controlling both speed and traffic.
It happens that the Ka band ISP we represent offers different quotas of data allowance for day and night shifts. For example our most sold plan gives the client 10 GB of data traffic allowance during the day and 60 GB during the night (midnight to 6 AM), so for us it would be very handy if we could have a option to just free the clients of data traffic limitation during the night period. We have some work-around options for this, for example set up a second router with its WiFi set to work, out of HOTSPOT SYSTEM , during this hours but this can turn into more problems. So if you can consider implementing this it would be very good, not only for us but for other operators I believe. Thanks
