MiFi Mobile Hotspot + RADIUS

    Hello Forum.

    I am wondering if anyone has information about MiFi Hotspots compatible with RADIUS server and HotspotSystem?

    All the MiFi’s I have found does not offer a RADIUS option in the Firmware, but perhaps someone here has ideas or information?

    Goal is to use a MiFi as HOTSPOT and authenticate via HotspotSystem RADIUS server…

    Possible ??

    Best method would be something like a Mikrotik Routerboard http://routerboard.com/RB922UAGS-5HPacD board which accepts a 3g/4g sim card andaa usb LTE modem.

    I use routerboards and hotspotsystem in a few locations and they work well together, I have not used any 3g/4g options yet.

    Hi Martin,

    I hope you got my answer on the Cradlepoint solutions.
    Also, the Mikrotik way could also work, we yet to have a test with it.
    We’ll be testing an LTE solution with the RB951 soon, but the compatibility between the router and the 3G/4G modem is the main limiting factor.
