not being forward to Wi-Fi splash page

    Hi

    I have followed the instructions on how to setup hotspotsystem on dd-wrt.

    But I still get internet access with no WIFI splash screen

    can some please help

    Hello,

    What is the build number of DDWRT you are using? (we advise using 22118)
    What ip address do you get when you connect to the signal?

    Hello I have the exact problem.. DDWRT on fonera (DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/23/14)
    (SVN revision 24461)

    The router works as usual, so no splash screen or anything, It lets you freely navigate.

    DD-wrt doesn’t test all their builds with Hotspotsystem. We have tested 22118 and it seems to be stable across all platforms.

    Make sure you reset the configuration when you flash the router!

    I managed to get it working (one time it was stable and I saved the ddwrt backup, so If I restore that backup it works)

    Is it normal that after the system is on (fonera as AP connected to netgear router),
    also the netgear private wifi requires hotspotsystem login to work????? (sorry for the offtopic)

    If the netgear is connected through to the internet through the hotspot router then all traffic will be redirected!

    Jerry how did you solve your problem, as we are having the same issues. We have the current build installed WRT54GL linksys routers

    Some of the 2015 builds work although they are in beta. We advise using build 22118.
    Based on the install guide your router should be properly configured!

    In some cases a long SSID can prohibit the hotspot from working.

    You should try configuring a DNS server. If the router cannot connect to the DNS server the hotspot will not start!
