Free Hot Spot – Users Can't Reconnect After Their Time Is Over
-
Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 11:30 am
Hi all!
I’ve set up a FREE hotspot. Everything is fine, BUT! Usres with 2-hours limit package cann’t re-login to the hotspot. They are always redericted to the page with the message have no more minutes in your account”.
I need my users have free unlimited access, but after two hours they should relogin through the login page, but it’s not working.
What shoud I do to fix it?
Thx
Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 12:04 pmYour users got incorrect time information from the router, it was working the first time when you tried it with mac address 74-F0-6D-4F-32-30 on 2012-02-19 12:41:25 GMT, then the next time at 2012-02-19 22:40:59 it was wrong. Something happened with the router’s setting between those 2 dates.

Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 1:59 pmIt turned out that it was a problem with your selected custom package. Please try it now, it should work .
Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 2:23 pmThanks, users are in, but in login page after pressing “Enter hotspot” button they are not redericted to the welcome page (with Google search form), but they istead start downloading file named “logon” (under Chrome) with the following content:
Connection: close
Cache-Control: no-cache, must-revalidate
P3P: CP="IDC DSP COR ADM DEVi TAIi PSA PSD IVAi IVDi CONi HIS OUR IND CNT"

But users are IN internet!
It doesn’t look like normal situation I think.
Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 2:36 pmWell, as the page says: “Browser error! Browser does not support redirects!”
Please try with an other browser too.. This can also be a firewall issue.
Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 2:50 pmWell, but a few days ago everything was fine with redirection on that devices exactly.
Anonymous February 22, 2012 at 2:56 pmNo idea, i’ve never seen an error message like this. But this is your browser’s response so we cannot do anything about this…
