Can't Log Into Router

    I keep getting this message (ERROR: NASID doesn’t exist or mistyped. NASID should be: ‘operatorusername_locationID’ . LocationID is a number which can be found in the Control Center under Manage > Locations. If it is your first location, then it should be operatorusername_1. If this is your second location it should be operatorusername_2. You need to replace operatorusername with your operator username.) I must have set uo hotspot wrong, but can’t login to fix. Software install seemed fine.

    What firmware are you using?

    What is the operator ID you typed in? Can you send a screenshot of the hotspot settings?

    I am using hotspotwrt-wrt54g.bin which I downloaded from your site. The install went well and when I tried to access the router after I wasn’t getting internet to double check the settings I got the above message. I typed in grampy as my user id which is my hotspot user ID. Can’t do a screen shot as I can’t log in to the router. Thanks

    Ok, I figured out how to reset the router and I was able to log in and reset all the info per the instructions. The cisco light is yellow so the router has internet, but when I try to access the internet through my wireless card the page says “Operator doesn’t exist”. So now what do I do? Thanks.

    If you get the “Operator doesn’t exist” error that means your NASID is configured improperly. Chcek the operator id, and location number, and make sure it is entered as the guide tells you. Please send me a screenshot of your hotspot settings.

    Ok, I’ll attach 4 screen shots as I’m not sure which one is best for you to help. Also the router is broadcasting id openwrt even though the settings was changed. Thanks

    If the router broadcasts “OpenWRT” this means the SSID is too long.

    Sorry, the images were small, didn’t see them. Your operatorID is “grampy”. This should be filled in the operator username field in the router settings under the hotspot configuration.

    Hello,

    if you get this error than NASID doesn't exist or mistyped. On the screenshot we can see that you are using 'my_operator_grampy' as your nasid instead of 'grampy'.
