Dual Band Router Problems

    I have a dual band netgear wnr3500l router and ever since I set it up to use hotspot system as the hotspot provider the private network that I use on the virtual interface has been has been failing to let my devices connect. When I try to connect to the hotspot it works just fine.

    It now appears that the router is not assigning IP addresses to my computer/devices when I try to connect from my netbook or smartphone it fails at the assigining IP stage.

    Any clue as to what is wrong?

    What is the firmware on the router? What is the build number? Can you send a screenshot of your hotspot settings page?
