New Setup/install

    Hi,

    Just a question on setup.

    Currently i have eircom Dsl internet modem connect in to a POE switch then have all my access points (18) that are around different locations around shop. Could i get a linksys router with the hotspot software installed on it. then have my Dsl modem connect to the linksys(hotspot) then into the POE switch to my access points. Would that work??

    Hello,

    You can use a Linksys router for your hotspot. I recommend the Wrt54gl. You should use it as your gateway in order to authenticate all connections, and to prevent bypassing of the hotspot. By default its LAN ports will redirect to the splash page, so you can route all traffic through it LAN ports.
