The System Did Not Recognize Me Anymore

  • My problem:

I have a Mikrotik Hotspot installed since 1 year now with hotspot FREE SPLASH service.

Since 14 August for an unknown reason the system did not shown my flag as green anymore and do not recognize me.

What i had done from this point:

Reset Mikrotik and reinstall (as is very simple process) the HOTSPOT again, replaced the ehternet and WiFi cards also with other (just for test) i checked again router, firewall, i downloaded also some special radius tools (only for testing Hotspotsystem Radius Servers) but without luck.

I attach a photo (just for example) where appeared my system status.

In Device List did not appear my ethernet card and the flag is still red.

I did not changed anything else, and my problem (after 5 days) still remains.

    Any help is appreciated,

    regards,

Did you add our script to the scheduler?

    STEP 13

    Hi Roland! 🙂

Thanks for your very fast answer (as always) but yes, i explain it above.

    Something else please?

Check that no firewalls are blocking this call. Especially SPI firewalls can block these kind of internal calls from the router.

I checked again 'every' firewall in my route to the internet, from my 1st firewall of my ISP configuration page (it is disabled) on the router (i opened also ports 1812 + 1813 udp) and last at my hardware firewall (disabling all the filtering rules for hotspot)

I attach also 2 very last screenshots (5 minutes before i post)

Looks like system knows my time scheduled uptime but not ethernet card and my status (the flag is still red)

These calls are standard http calls on port 80.

The last activity is calculated from login/logout dates and this means that the router alert function doesn't reach our servers so you need to find out why. We cannot see anything from our side, this is a local problem.

    O.K!

Yes, i know that is a standard webcall on port 80

I trying later to put the Hotspot directly on the router (with a new configuration) to see what happens..

If i find my local problem i come back here to post the results

    Thanks for any help!!!!!!
