Tp-Link Wr1043Nd/dd-Wrt – Hotspot Services Not Working

    Hi every body.

    after my crash of bufalo w300 I test on a WR1043ND based on dd-wrt (: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/20/12) std)

    my infrastructure is like that

    Main IPS ROUTER

    >WR1043DN(connected on wan port )

    | |

    | |

    | |

    | |

    wlan lan

    without hotspot system activate everything is ok I have internet with wlan or lan of the WR1043DN

    when I enable hotspot services with the good options, internet is out of order

    on the hotspot system control center my wr1043dn is seen and UP, I receive mail about the activity.

    I don't know What I need to do on the router to successfully acces to the hopspot main page.

    I would test the free version before purchase the blankbrand option.

    for information, before with the buffalo i had the similar issue ( is there is a parameter to my ips router ton setup the “wan connexion”)

    Hello,

    You will need to create a virtual interface when using a newer build. This will make a new SSID through which users can access the hotspot: http://hotspotsystem.com/deskpro/kb_article.php?ref=6778-RFZX-2714

    Thanks for this information.

    Finnaly I put an older firmware on the routeur and use the script to activate opensystem services. and now it's working, except the mistake between virtual wireless and main wireless setting. but I will change the name and it's will be ok.

    I also need to ask one question and that is, wether we need to have a full permision assigned to us for having the total access?

    Glad to hear its working. For older builds you do not need to create a virtual interface.
