Dd-Wrt Page Needs To Stay Open In Order For Hotspot To Work

    I have an Actiontec MI424WR, DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std – build 13064

    Though its an older build, it was recommended by forum users here.

    Everything works great and fast as long as I keep a DD-WRT admin page open. After I close the administration, within a few minutes, clients cannot connect. Its like it times out and the refresh from the browser keeps it alive??

    Any ideas?

    It's strange. We haven't experienced such a behavior so far. It must be the router, if it's operating 100% properly for a certain period, then software wise it's ok. Are you sure it has saved the configuration properly?
