Thank you for posting your suggestion! Please note that SMS authentication does not cost the operator anything. It is not priced the same as the FREE SMS solution which charges according to how many SMS you send.

The main difference is:
FREE SMS sends an access code by SMS which enables the user to login.
SMS authentication sends a verification code to a mobile device which a user must enter when logging in with a voucher that is provided by you. This requires a voucher code be already supplied to the user. In this case no credit is deducted for the SMS.

In both cases the system records the user’s mobile number which helps identify the user, this is also a legal requirement in some countries for public hotspots.
