I did have ddwrt build 14311 running but realised I was using the wrong firmware for the router and therefore replaced it with the newer build described above. In 14311 I found that the router rebooted straight away in the command line installation method and the router setup correctly. This doesn't happen in the newest build. Because the firmware wasn't right I decided to change it to the newest and correct build for my router, as I thought I might brick the router.

Which other builds can you suggest that definitely function as expected with the hotspot system. I do remember that my ip address was 192.168.182.x but I am not at the premises until tonight so I will check this then.
