Perfect !!! I followed the instructions and got it to work…BUT IT IS BACKWARDS !!!!!
HELP !!!
This is the way it is working right now….
carroll-home = SSID Physical Port = wl0
deep-n-woods = SSID Virtual Port = wl0.1
everyone logging into SSID = wl0.1 goto the login screen okay…
BUT…
I want SSID = wl0 physical port to goto the login screen and SSID = wl0.1 to be the free internet users port…
When choosing the DHCP option under the router / Services / HotSpot / DHCP Interface..
my only options to choose from are:
LAN
eth0
eth1
etherip0
vlan0
wl0.1
The physical port wl0 is not showing up….OR IS IT? IS IT CALLED A DIFFERENT NAME HERE ON THE LIST?
anyways, I pick wl0.1 and save it and the system works like I stated above….
Your documentation does not show or tell us or talk about this issue….
It has to be something simple..
Can you please tell me which of those DHCP Interfaces to choose to have SSID Physical Port – wl0 goto the login page and………….. virtual port SSID – wl0.1 will go to the free internet users.
Thank you for this special help!!!

wl0.1 is the name of the virtual interface. You would need to use eth0 or eth1, because those are the “real” wireless interfaces.
To find out the actual name of the virtual interface, use the command “nvram get wl0_ifname”.
