Cant Get Splash Screen Using A Mikrotik Router

    I have been trying for quite a while now and i cant get the mikrotik router to redirect to the splash spage. I have read many of the online guides and have followed the Mikrotik process here on hotspot. I have reset several times in an effort to start over. But still no luck. Any idea where/how i can get some help to move forward with this??

    If it helps, this is a pub I am trying to setup. THe wired ports will be hooked to bank machines, debit machines, office computers etc. The wifi port, which will be on its own VLAN, will be accessed by the customers.

    On my setup, the wifi IP that is released is always a 192.168.x.x ip address. Following the process it seems as if it is supposed to be a 10.5.50.x ip. Not sure why or how this is or even if this is the fault.

    Any help available??

    goog luck getting an answer. i've been waiting for over a week. i wont use this company. use someone with better customer service so that idf you have problems you will get help.

    Hello,

    sorry for the late answer. In our installation guide: http://www.hotspotsystem.com/en/hotspot/install_guide_mikrotik.html , step 2:

    “2. Let's add the hotspot service to wlan Click IP > HotSpot and the hotspot Setup box, choose wlan1 as hotspot interface. You can accept default values but choose none for certificate. Leave the IP as it is (10.5.50.x).”

    You probably changed this IP to 192.168.x.x.
