I have replaced the kit at one of my locations and need some assistance.
I have installed an Edgerouter X and used the code downloaded for my hotspot location but my customers are not landing at the splash screen. I do not know enough about configuring routers to go in and play about. I did get an email saying my router was successfully setup.
I am using pppoe instead of having an uplink from modem/router. So i am suspecting this is the issue for the hotspot code not working.
I have a netgear router i took out from before so i could always get the uplink from there but when i connect it, it cuts off all internet connection. If i knew how to configure that router for passthrough it might work.
When eth2 is configured in our guide, we assume that the EdgeRouter is connected to a main router/modem with DHCP capabilites. Since pppoe is different than that, you need to adjust this step to your situation. The rest should be the same.
