How Do I Get The Users To Go To A Splash Page And Click I Agree Button

I’m trying to setup hotspotsystem on Linksys E4200 with dd-wrt v24-sp2 big Release: 06/14/11 (SVN revision: 17201).
I have the E4200 behind another router, so the WAN is set to 192.168.1.47 (which is LAN side of the public router)
Then on E4200 I have the LAN set to 10.10.10.0/24 network and DHCP enabled with starting address of 10.10.10.100 until 250.
Everything works fine, I’m able to connect to the E4200 and get online. Now when I try to enable hotspotsystem, i have the following options:
Operator Username: InsighCoffee
Location ID: 1
DHCP Interface: LAN
Remote Network: 10.10.10.0/24
Special Settings: Enable
White Label Protocol: https
White Label Domain: blank
Login on splash page: Enable
Custom Splash Page (Walled Garden): unchecked
UAM Allowed: blank
I’m able to connect to the wifi and surf without getting prompted for a splash page? How do I get the users to go to a splash page and click I agree button?
Also what is Remote Network exactly for?
Thanks!
Hi,
The remote network field specifies the network that hotspot users will be assigned an ip address on. You don’t need to change this ip address, but if for some reason you want to, you would also need to change a setting in the control center. Click manage-locations- name of location – Modify Hotspot Data & Settings – Splash page settings – and change the “Internal Login/Logout URL Set” to custom. Then replace the http://192.168.182.1:3990/prelogin field with the network address you specified.
Please make the changes and try the hotspot again.
