Installation Problem

    hi

    i have linksys E1200 v2 i tried to install hotsopot from command menu but i got permission error

    but i used terminal command and i just install it and i recived email ([HotspotSystem.com] Router has been successfully installed)

    and after restart the router i went to the service menu but i cant see the hotspot menu ,even my router name had changed but the menu not appear

    Hello,

    What firmware build are you using? You should try to find a version, which contains our Hotspot services under Services>Hotspot in the router. And try to upload a firmware build above 19000, if with no success, above 20000. You also have to set it up with a virtual wireless interface, according to our knowledgebase article here:

    Also, if you can”t get it working, try to remove virtual interface, set the main wireless interface to unbridged. Set DHCP server to interface eth0 under Services>Hotspot, disable main DHCP server under Basic setup>Network setup, and set Local DNS to enable under Services>DNSMasq .
