Local Advertisement: High Potential To Hotspot Operators?

    Hello,

    I wonder .. if I get more than 10000 hits/month on my Hotspot homepage, does it make sense of proposing an advertisement channel to local businesses .. I guess so!

    I have personally looked at this option since the beginning in 2006 in developing a freely accessible public internet network in my region may be using the latest FACEBOOK Like US functionality from Hotspotsystem .. the more people the better and more powerful ads platform exist to local businesses and operator charge businesses for advertisements.

    Please contribute and vote for this idea if you support it.

    I would also like to have the opinion of Hotspotsystem in may be targeting slowly the development of the Control Panel towards having tools for advertisements management and selling.

    Also what I would like to see is Hotspotsystem Control Panel integrating with Third Party tools available on the markets: CRMs, Mail lists System, Advertsing Platforms, etc

    Hello,

    we have been working on a messaging system currently. We are thinking to integrate Mailchimp but it's in an early phase. The system will also be able to use for SMS campaigns.

    Also, we are interested in integrating an ad server so you can use ads on the splash pages (you can use them now but it's not simple to manage ads). Do you have an open source ad server in your mind which you can suggest? OpenX is not free anymore and its very complicated IMHO.
