I have a BT HomeHub5 with Infinity line with ip of 192.168.1.254, I have 2 routers attached to this device to give me range. A netgear N600 with 192.168.2.2 and a DDWRT Linksys E1500 with 192.168.3.3. Lets ignore the N600 for now please, I have connection internet connection when i connect to the Linksys E1500, but no splash page, and it seems Hotspot System cannot receive the signal. Please see images to show you my configuration.
1 Basic Setup:

2 Wireless Interface:

3 Services Setup:

Any help will be very much appreciated to get this working. I have the go ahead from my manager to purchase a subscription if this works.
Using build:
dd-wrt.v24-25648_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv64k.binAnonymous March 24, 2015 at 10:57 amOK Quick update, I have read a few threads and realised that I did not have the Ethernet from the BT Home Hub to the Linksys in the correct port, I have now put it in the WAN Port and I have received an email from Hotspot system saying they can see my router.
Now I cannot access the Interent when I click on the SSID from a wireless device the IP address I am getting is 192.168.182.4, and any webpage is not available.
Nigel,
The ip address you receive is fine, it means chilli is running (wlan controller). Open a command prompt and ping hotspotsystem.com. If it does not resolve then you may need to add a DNS server.
Try to ping hotspotsystem.com again, or the actual ip address 195.228.254.149. Both should work
Additionally we recommend using build number 22118 as it has proven stable across many hardware platforms, although results vary.
Anonymous April 1, 2015 at 4:26 pmOK SO im getting an error “Duplicate reply detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that! “.
Please see attached file for my actual reply, and what do you mean by adding a DNS server? Sorry?
It seems ping was not able to resolve the domain name. You should configure a DNS server. Click the setup/basic setup tab. Add the DNS ip under local DNS. You can use Google’s 8.8.8.8.
Another problem seemed to be that pinging the ip address did not work. Perform a traceroute command to see where the packets are being dropped.
Anonymous April 29, 2015 at 12:54 pmJust to confirm. I have set DNS as that please see pics above, and the setup is as follows:
BT HomeHub5 from LAN port to E1500 WAN port.
Here is ipconfig and tracert stats, does this tell you anything?

Should the E1500 have a WAN IP? or should it be 0.0.0.0
Nigel,
Please confirm you have downgraded to build 22118.
The router needs to display an actual ip address on the WAN port, not 0.0.0.0-

Anonymous April 30, 2015 at 4:41 pmI have tried the big and mega versions of 22118 and WiFi completely did not work (no signal detected using Android, nor Apple, nor Windows)
dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin (no WiFi)
dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv64k.bin (no WiFi)After some research this is a well known bug for this version. I need Wifi working to be able to connect to it.
DDwrt build numbers can produce different results depending on the router, we can’t test them on all various platforms.
Yesterday I tested the latest DDwrt release, 25697 and it was working:

Anonymous May 5, 2015 at 2:13 pmrouter is now bricked.. Going to try a serial cable to unbrick. if that dont work. Im just going to buy one from you all set up.
I’m sorry to hear that, please check the DDwrt forums for de-bricking yoru router: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Recover_from_a_Bad_Flash
