No Splash Screen, Gives Free Internet

    WRT300N V1

    .v24 standard DDwrt firmware 14896

    So I can get free internet, but i never see the splash page on a wifi client . they just connect DHCP and get internet. Ive checked Services -> Hotspot -> Login on Splash Screen.

    I dont understand how I'm supposed to connect the router, the instructions aren't very clear I've read it 7 times.

    If my cablemodem goes to my NORMAL router (#1) then………

    [sharedmedia=core:attachments:126]

    IP Address: 192.168.1.1 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 DHCP Server: Enable Start IP Address: 192.168.1.100 End IP Address: 192.168.1.107

    AND I HAVE A 2nd ROUTER that will be my hotspot……

    Do i Connect it to my HOTSPOT router's WAN or LAN port with the cable? (a 2nd router, not my primary router)

    WHAT SHOULD BE my hotspot routers (#2) LAN IP? 192.168.20.1?

    WHAT SHOULD BE my hotspot routers (#2) WAN IP? auto? disabled?

    Hotspot SystemEnable Disable

    [sharedmedia=core:attachments:128]

    Operator Username

    Location Number

    Separate Wifi from LAN BridgeEnable Disable

    DHCP Interface

    LAN eth0 eth2 etherip0 <

    what should this be?

    i have LAN, eth0, eth2, etherip0

    if i create a 'virtual wireless' like in the instructions,

    then all i get are extra SSIDs that show up on my

    pc clients wifi list. 'dd-wrt' and 'virtual wireless'

    do i use one of these or do i make the 'virtual wireless'?

    OK THANKS! looks like i finally got it to work by downgrading to fw v24 14311, and applying the setup command!

    Hello,

    Yes, 14311 is a much better build, 14896 is buggy. Have you set your second router correctly?
