Re-Flashing Router From Other Hotspot Vendor

    My routers (TP-Link and Linksys) are flashed with:

    chillifire-tl-wr741nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin

    chillifire-wrt54gs_v4-squashfs.bin

    What the procedure be to reflash to dd-wrt.

    Do I just load up the new bin? Or do I reset to factory settings?

    You should contact the previous hotspot solution provider to be sure about the procedure.

    There are several things you can do, reset the router to factory defaults, try to upgrade from the admin interface or TFTP an image in. Make sure you use the right image, otherwise it can render your router useless!
