remove or replace a banner in the firs page

    Hi
    I am to ask you for an help.

    We have an Hotspot with a FREE BASIC profile, which for the moment meets our needs pretty well.
    Our first aim is to be in order with the law keeping a session log of our guests’ transactions. I’d like then to find out a way for have this log automatically on my pc. But for that I’ll see.

    Now I am asking you if it is possible to remove or replace the Booking.com banner which appears in the first page after the log-in (in the page with the Google search bar inside).
    Since we are a little residece for holidays, we’d prefer not to have this specific banner because it addresses to other residences in our region.

    I would ask also why (on certains laptops) the HotSpotSystem login page doesn’t appears when I open Internet Explorer (which has http://www.google.com as home page). I found that the login page appears soon instead if I type any another ip address in IE bar. on the same laptops. Can you help me to understand the problem? I am afraid that our guests might find troubles for that.

    First, to be able to see the sessions and customize the splash page, you need to upgrade to Basic Plus which enables premium features.

    Then you can freely remove the booking banner from the successful login page using the Skin System.

    You can export the sessions from the Control Center, using the CSV export from Reports > Session Report.

    About the google redirect, i guess the problem here is that google is now using https and pages starting with https cannot be redirected. You can read more: http://help.hotspotsystem.com/knowledgebase/websites-starting-with-https-are-not-forwarded-to-the-splash-page
