Router Config

Hi, I am trying to set up my router so that i can get this synced on your control centre. I have one master router which is a BT home hub linked to a TP LINK with DD WRT installed. The router is linked to the BT homehub via ethernet cable from port 1 to port 4 in the TP link. First of all should i be running my ADSL line direct into the TP link? I have also attached a file with what i have done so far within the TP-Link DD WRT router and i am still unable to lync this up with your on line system. I am really keen to get this working as if i can figure this out at my home location i intend to roll this out to some of my business locations and pay for the PRO version. I am at this time able to use the DD WRT router for internet so i am really confused on this so far. Really look forward to your help and i have attached screen shots of the current set up Thanks Jamie
Hi,
we cannot see the screenshots, try to upload them one by one in jpg format.
Hi Jamie,
The most important things with any configuration:
You need to use the ADSL modem to connect to the line first.
The TP-Link should be connected by its WAN (internet) port to the ADSL modem.
You need to make sure the TP-Link is not configured to the IP subnet used on its WAN side (see Status > WAN or he top right corner for the IP WAN address).
Please read the troubleshooting tips in the DD-WRT guide carefully. 8.8.8.8 should be used under Setup > Basic setup > Network setup > Router IP.
It’s safe to use DD-WRT builds from here for the TP-Link routers:
