Session Expired Still Have Internet Acces

  • I'm doing some tests, connected, but still have internet connection after session has expired. It is slow but I can acces webpages, also new ones that I've newer been on them before. What can cause this?

Also if someone by mstake close the pop-up window, is there a way to restore it?

If the popup window is closed then you can go to hotspotlogout.com to log out of the hotspot.

Can you give me your operator id and the device's mac address that can still access the internet after his access has expired.

operator name is fort, mac is 88-9f-fa-18-4a-d7

I've used the plan that I named data100 on this connection 30minutes,usage based, expires 1 hour within a day, up 512kbps, dn 128kbps (this also have problems as per speedtest still have ~500-600kbps on download) , traffic limit 100mb

44-6D-57-D4-48-F5 was the other mac on another session yesterday night.

    thanks for any help

I wold reccomend or suggest to have the information about hotspotlogout.com on the splash page and ideally, as a permanent banner on each webpage.

    Hello,

with the Basic Plan you cannot restrict users. Users who reach the allowed traffic or time are redirected to the splash page again where they can get an other access.

If you switch to Basic Plus+ you can deny login for users who reach they limits. You can set a period like 1 month, and they can only request 1 free access within 1 month.

Also, it is possible to offer pay-per-use packages for those who want to use the internet after their free session is expired. You will need Hotspot PRO plan for this. You can read more here: https://www.hotspotsystem.com/deskpro/kb_article.php?ref=8845-UIVN-2706

That's exactly my point, I have not been redirected, once I got an pop-up window saying that the session has expired bla bla bla, and then I just clicked to reopen another IE window, new splash page newer appeared, and I could surf the internet again, without having to go thru the splash page again. Before I put any money on any plus pro or another plan with you, I want to see how really good this system is. Thats my point and goal to achieve.

The problem was caused on our end, but has been fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thank you Marko!

Now it cuts the internet acces, only point is that after ~6minutes I have popup window saying that the session has expired, then after ~8minutes, after the session really expires it redirects me to the splash page.

The time displayed in the popup can be a little off. The important thing is that the access corresponds to the time set in the free package.
