Setting-up edgerouter in a allready routed network

Hi,
I have an edgerouter and want to use it to provide a hotspot.
I allready have a modem/router from my ISP, witch i can’t set in bride mode or just totally don’t use.
What i want is the edgerouter to take the internet signal from my router, simply bridge it to another port and add a vlan with the hotspot. Something like this:
–ISProuter————–Edgerouter–ETH2 port with the direct signal from the isp router+VLAN with hotspot
(with DHCP 192.168.0.*) (With the 192.168.0.* and the hotspot in a vlan)
This way i can use my existing accespoints to make a second SSID specific for the hotspot VLAN.
I don’t know much about routers, my biggest problem seems to be ‘forwarding’ the signal from my isp router.
Hi,
You can do that, just configure the setup script accordingly. You need an interface for the hotspot, though.
