Setup Failed To Configure Ip Address:

    I can’t successfully get past your second step in the configuration process of a mikrotik router. At the end of the hotspot process I get an error message saying: “setup failed to configure ip address: failed to add IP address: already have such address (6)”

    What am I not seeing, I’ve been at this for hours?

    Hi, did you delete the default configuration? It is important to start from scratch and to follow the guide exactly step by step.

    Thanks, I had started from scratch after posting, still busy with the setup now, will let you know when done.

    No, still not working and when I work through the configuration again it gives me the same error on step 2.

    In the Hotspot menu I have removed the server and server profile, now it won’t let me recreate them.

    Also, the server is highlighted in red, meaning there is an error. When connected to my hotspot the client computers don’t display the login screen, they just go onto their normal home page.
