Probably you got an access based on a package where there was a bandwidth limitation set. You can verify this if you go to the Control Center and click on your username or mac address from the transaction list. On the user’s page you can see what bandwidth limits are set for the user you used to log in to the hotspot. You can read more about bandwidth limitations here.
