You mentioned that you tried with a laptop but you didn’t get a splash screen. Could you please give more details? Did you get any error message? If you are getting free internet connection, then again the network settings are incorrect.
The screenshot you upload is unreadable. Its too small. Please upload a normal screenshot so we can have a look at your network settings.
Thank you for your reply. Its a step forward that your router is displayed on the DEVICE LIST. It may be that ‘www.apple.com’ has to added to the white list on your openwrt router. This has to be done by editing a configuration file on the router. Again, by using PuTTy and the vi editor.
Before we do that, can you please test your hotspot by using a laptop instead of an iphone? We first need to ensure that you are getting a splash page.
From the log you had posted earlier and the youtube video you recorded we noticed that the script is running normally and the openwrt installation was successful.

is just an warning message. Its not a real error message, it is just displayed for informational purposes. The script was executed successfully.
We would like you to focus in another area that may resolve your issue:
You mentioned you are getting free internet connection but no splash page.
You need to set an IP address/subnet of the router’s LAN NOT EQUALLING the WAN side. So you can either set the device that is providing the internet connection to 192.168.x.1 where x does not equal the Linksys’ LAN subnet, or set the Linksys to 192.168.y.1 where y does not equal 1.
Let us know if you are getting a hotspot splash page after performing the above change.

We are not the developers of the dd-wrt firmware, other that the tutorial offered we strongly advise you to post a question on the support forum of dd-wrt. Thank you for your message. Could you please perform the script once again? Make sure you have open wrt installed. We have updated our website, so please log in to your hotspot account and copy the command from the very bottom of the page where it says ROUTER SETUP COMMAND FOR THIS LOCATION. SSH to your router using PuTTy and execute the command.

Thank you for your reply. In your case we advise you to install openwrt firmware instead of using dd-wrt firmware.

Under the Administration tab of the dd-wrt firmware you can upload this file.
We are developing a script that will perform the configuration automatically, but if you can’t wait please perform the following steps manually:
Once you have successfully changed the firmware on your router, you can access the router by entering address 192.168.1.1 on the web address bar. Make sure to change the password on the router. There will be a red box displayed asking you to change the password and Save and Apply the changes.
You need to SSH to your router. You need to use a utility like PuTTY to SSH to the router (you can download PuTTY from here: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html). In the Host Name (or IP address) field of PuTTY enter 192.168.1.1 to access the router.
Once you have connected to the router. Enter the password of your router. Once you have accessed your router, you need to copy/paste a special command to this prompt.
You can find the command if you open a new web browser window, navigate to hotspotsystem.com and log in to your hotspot account. Under Manage > Locations > (choose your location) at the very bottom of the page there is a section ROUTER SETUP COMMAND FOR THIS LOCATION. There is a wget command displayed in the window.
Before you copy/paste the command please change the value “&version=v24” to “&version=openwrt”. You can change this value from the command prompt of PuTTY once you have pasted the command.
Also, make sure your router is connected to the internet via cable before you execute the command by pressing ENTER in PuTTY. This is because the router has to communicate with our servers in order to complete the configuration.
That’s it, after executing the command, wait a few seconds and your router will be configured for the location you have chosen.

Thank you for your message. You mentioned you are using the model wrt54g. Could you please let us know of the revision number of your router? You can find this information at the sticker at the back of your router.
Please perform the following steps: Disconnect your router from your computer. Reboot your router. After the router reboot please reboot your computer too. Thank you for your message. In case you don’t want to use cables you need to setup a Wireless Distribution System, or WDS. Please note that WDS setup is very sensitive even one missed out step can brake the connection between the main and the additional routers. You need to make sure that both routers support WDS. You should perform the steps in our tutorial on both router administrator menus of your devices. In case both routers support WDS the same options will be available. We recommend you don’t use repeaters but buy additional cheap routers with our system and use WDS in order to extend the range of your hotspot. Please make sure that the additional routers support WDS.
The reason why we don’t recommend the use of repeaters is that after the first successful login of one user all the users behind the first user will have free internet access.

We advice you to press and hold the reset button on back of the router for 30 seconds while the router is powered on and perform our tutorial from scratch. You don’t need to install the firmware again, we just ask you to perform the settings again.In case the issue remains please open a support ticket (http://www.hotspotsystem.com/hotspot_help/new-ticket) and attach screenshots of all you router administrator settings so we can have a look and indicate the incorrect setting.

We investigated your issue. Please use Winbox (provided by Mikrotik) and under IP > DHCP server > click on DHCP Setup. Fill in carefully the necessary information asked by the wizard. After completing this step, click on IP > Address List click on the + sign and fill in carefully the three fields based on the previous step. Now, you should be getting an IP address on the LAN port.
We recommend you use build 22118 of the dd-wrt firmware for this router. Please navigate to http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/other-downloads and browse to the following directory: others › eko › BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2 › 2013 › 07-24-2013-r22118 › broadcom_K26. Please note that all the steps have to be performed exactly as indicated in our installation guide.
